OS/400 Versions and DocManager

It is important to match DocManager host versions to your OS/400 version.

Notable rules :

• Nothing higher than DocManager 9.1.1 can be installed on V5R4 OS/400
• DocManager 9.2.1 requires at least V6R1 OS/400
• DocManager 9.3.0 requires at least V7R1 OS/400

Notable notes :

• DocManager 8.8.1.1 seems to work fine on V5R4 -V7R3
• Currently there is no version certified for V7R4 – this is planned for DocManager 9.4.x
• Certification seems to bear little correlation to a lack of issues
• Currently, DMS4U do NOT recommend V9.3.x or above
