What to do when you no longer wish to keep your AS/400...
Your SpyView / DocManager system currently holds copies of documents e.g. sales invoices which you legally need to keep available for at least 7 years from their date of generation.
Should you decide to migrate away from AS/400 you are still legally required to
keep that information available. Rather than keep the data on your own AS/400 which carries a hardware, support and knowledge overhead, the data can be transferred to a hosted system in our data centre for long term archive.
Your users are then given secured access via an internet connection enabling them to view and reprint the documents as required. There are
numerous benefits to this approach, both financial and organisational and this service has proved very popular with businesses whom have made the strategic decisions to leave AS/400, yet understand their legal requirements to keep archives to satisfy HM Customs and other authorities.
